All volunteers require a DBS certificate, and we’ll help you sort this with ease.

Volunteer Opportunities

The majority of our volunteers offer to drive our members to and from our events. Generally, the drivers stay with the members throughout the event as it’s this companionship that is so rewarding for all involved. However, some volunteers prefer to use the time to go shopping or to the gym. It’s entirely up to you and all we ask is that at least 3 drivers remain with the group.

We’re also looking to expand our network of home hosts.  If you’re happy to welcome a small group of members into your home once or twice a year, please let us know.

We’ll be there to support you every step of the way.

DBS Certificate

Apart from home hosts, all other volunteers are required to hold a DBS certificate. If you require a certificate, we can order this on your behalf. If you hold a valid certificate, please send us a copy. DBS certificates are valid for 3 x years.
