Ivan Corsby Personal Training and a dedicated team from Edge Gym are taking on the ultimate test of endurance: the Three Peaks Challenge.
An arduous test of physical and mental endurance, The Three Peaks Challenge involves conquering the summit of the highest mountains of Scotland, England, and Wales within a 24-hour window. This formidable undertaking includes Ben Nevis (1,345m), Scafell Pike (978m), and Snowdon (1,085m), encompassing a total walking distance of approximately 23 miles (37km) and a cumulative ascent of around 3,000 meters (9,800 feet).
Beyond the sheer physical strain of the climbs themselves, the challenge incorporates the significant driving time between each mountain, requiring meticulous planning and efficient time management. Participants must contend with varying terrain, unpredictable weather conditions, and the need for sustained stamina, making it a truly demanding but rewarding feat.
We’re so thankful the team have chosen to fundraise for The Communi-Tea Circle. Every donation received, no matter how small, will make a tangible difference to those suffering from loneliness in the local community.
Please join us in supporting our climbers and help make a real difference.
