Who we are

At Communi-Tea Circle we believe no one should face loneliness alone. Run entirely by dedicated volunteers, our charity brings people together—one cup of tea at a time. After years of supporting similar causes, we set out to create something uniquely personal: a local charity, run for the community, by the community.

Since launching in 2021, we’ve been connecting people, spreading joy, and showing how tea, cake, and conversation can create bonds, lift spirits, and bring a sense of belonging to those who need it most.

What we do

We organise heartfelt social events—from cozy tea parties to pub dinners—giving elderly members an opportunity to leave home, share stories, and enjoy good company. Whether it’s a warm chat over a slice of cake or a shared meal, every gathering is designed to encourage friendship and a sense of belonging. Volunteer drivers ensure no one is left behind, offering safe and friendly transportation to and from events.
